The Reese Shur-Set III Breakaway System protects yourself from the unthinkable. A full breakaway system is designed to make certain that your trailer stops if accidentally separated from the towing vehicle. A breakaway event triggers the on-board battery to send a charge that engages your trailer brakes and stops the trailer. Use on single, tandem or tri-axle trailers with electric brakes.
- Meets D.O.T. specifications.
- Includes battery case, mounting brackets and breakaway switch.
- Does not include the charger, if you need the complete kit reference part number 96-8378.
